The Importance of Adult Volunteers
We may be the ones building the robot, but behind the scene our adult volunteers make everything we do possible. Adult volunteers take care of things that we wouldn’t be able to do as students, like managing our finances.
Without our adult volunteers, our team would amount to nothing. Our mentors teach us how to use new equipment, advise us on the best designs, and mediate in discussions. Our sponsoring teachers make sure that we have access to the workshop and cafeteria when we need it. The Tech Booster parents organize lunches on weekends and make sure we have transportation to and from competitions.
